Oh and it was 2 for 1 day. I also got this sweet ride:

Cool huh? Just a little body rust /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Actually we're going to get some parts from the pair. I have axles from under the K20, a TH400 core, and yet another 203 case. From the Blazer we get axle shafts for the front, driveshafts, a 350 with 4-bolt main that will probably run with very little effort, TH350, and oh - another 203 case. There are a few odds & ends on the Blazer if any of you want them - burgundy seatbelts - maybe an emblem - headlight trim pieces and the turn signal lens. I will look & take some pics later on of anything salvageable and put them in the For Sale forum.

Parts truck? a little bondo and some duct tape and she'd pass inspection no problem. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

If I had the time, I might be inclined to fix it just enough to take it to a tuff truck thing and just give it a proper send-off to the junkyard. Wouldn't that be fun? LOL. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I need glass, if you can ship it and sell it for a good price, I'll take it! My windshield's cracked in three places (two filled), and both door glass is all scratched up (bad weatherstripping).

PM me if you can do it, thanks! /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

Does it run? /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Bad news. My hubby works for Novus Auto Glass and said shipping glass is just not cheap. Even if we pulled it and gave it away, the shipping would cost so much it would be cheaper for you to buy locally. It is oversized and thus must go via truck freight. Have you checked your local salvage yards? Anything 73-87 (91 for Blazer & Burb) should work. The only difference being wether or not it had an integrated antenna.

Good luck!

Hey thanks for checkin it out for me. I'll do just that, go check the yards. I figured that shipping would be a lot, but it never hurts to try /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

The good thing about that truck is let it sit for another couple years and the body will be gone and you don't have to worry about getting rid of it. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
MAN I have NEVER seen one so rusted away. Wern you affrain the hard top would fall off and hit a car behind you? LOL

I was, so I was the car behind it /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. We used hub's K30 to tow it home, and my K5 to pull it up onto the trailer. I followed it back. The body fell off the frame. It's been a source of jokes the past couple of days: the self-trimming fenders, how to make a lowrider, etc. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Well at least the price was right (free!).
