the second pic show the #12 cutter head with a penny for size comparison. it cuts 3/4" wide grooves. the head and blades they send with it are a #4. thats 1/4" wide. way to small when dealing with offroad tires.

I have a #1 head for it. maybe I'll carve fists with the middle finger up like Kert does in his tabs. that way as he is rolling down the trail he is flipping people off.

same one I've got I like it. I used the narrow head and flipped the blade to sipe my A/Ts for winter. worked great

I have done the exact same thing. takes a long time but works.

I used a 1/4 and 1/8 on my old 38" TSLs. Just a thin cut on the lugs, and split the main tread up some.
