my new trailer

this is the latest rage

Cheap, but curious why the hell he would not make it to where the rig could sit over the wheels rather than on them. I dunno. That might be sweet with a sleeper cab mounted up infront of the 4x4..

Only down side I see here is if your tow rig goes down you now need a friend with a truck and a trailer.. If you trailer and you get in pickle with the tow rig just a friend tow it.

if a sleeper would fit that seriously perks my mind, but again you could simply mount a sleeper on the front of a trailer.

i looked before i got my trailer.they can be had without the box for about 3k.they are beat but the frames are huge and all the parts are huge.its a great way to have a trailer like mine and haul another rig to the trails

I drove one of those)when it was still a uhaul truck) from El Paso to Columbia, SC and only got 6 mpg with the Vortec 454. It would definately need a repower but then there goes the saving from only paying 3K for one.

Cool setup.... I bet your tow rig is going to be hating life though. What do you think that big gooseneck with the camper and your rig is going to weigh?
I'm just thinking we have about the same tow rig and I sure as heck wouldn't want to add anymore weight than I already pull.

well my trail rig is going on a diet.i belive its around 5500 pounds now.the trailer is around 5000 lbs.the trailer is only 2k heavier than my old 20 foot.i belive before when i was towing i was mostly on 7 cyls because i always had a miss and now my truck is at the shop with a stuck valve.so after that gets fixed im regearing from 3.73 to 4.56 and dropping back down to 245s.plus im gonna be getting a tune done.when i was towing right around 9k my truck was having no problems except on steep grades and i was running 285s.hopefully it will be about the same after improvements
