I have always been addicted to vehicles. I think I am an idiot sometimes for this addiction. I have been told for years that I should concentrate on 1 or 2 but instead I have automotive ADD. I call it the BBD, I am always looking for the Bigger Better Deal!! I bought my house in 2010 and at that time I went around gathering up all the vehicles I had at different places. shortly after I moved out here a friend came out and asked how many I had, I honestly didn't know so we walked and started counting. I had over 50 vehicles at that time. I am down to 20 something now. some are good vehicles and some are junk/parts that I have parked out back. I am getting ready to retire in less than 2.5 years and I am looking at downsizing even more. I was single from 1993 to 2014; although I became a single father in 1995 when I got custody of my 2 girls and then remarried in 2014. my wife is super supportive and even talks me out of selling some stuff as she knows how much I enjoy it. so after I posted in @nvrenuf thread I decided to start my own.
At this time I have a 2014 Ford Focus as my daily, a 2005 Ford Taurus that used to be my backup car then after I got married my wife drove it for a while and now her son who is a senior is driving it and I plan on just signing the title over to him. I also have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma that is also a daily for either me or my wife. since this is a Chevy site I do have a few of those. I have a 1991 K5 (Babe), a 1988 K5 and a 1984 K20 that are in running condition. I also have a 1979 K5, 1986 K5 and a GM truggy that has been stripped of all its running gear. I am fond of the 24 valve second generation Cummins and I have 4 of those trucks. a 2002 2WD quad cab dually, a 2002 4WD quad cab short bed, a 2001 4WD quad cab long bed and a 2000 2WD quad cab long bed (which is my wife's favorite truck). I have a few Jeeps also. I know most think Jeep is a dirty word around here but to each his own, I like them also. I have a 2007 JK Unlimited Rubicon, a 2004 LJ, a 1998 TJ. and a 1991 XJ. I have a few others out back, 3 more XJs (I had 11 total at one time, 2 of them on 1 tons) and a WJ that used to be my wife's daily until it broke a rod. then I have 4 tube buggies. I got started on them in 2008 and I was instantly hooked. they are lightweight and easy to tow. the wheeling I do is rock crawling and I don't have to worry about body damage. my pride and joy is an X Chassis although it is nothing more than a money pit. I bought not really knowing much about buggies and the suspension was not right on it. so I had the suspension redone. then converted it to propane. now it needs the wiring redone and cleaned up. I should sell it but I will never get close to what I have in it so I will just keep trying to finish it.
so next up I am going to share (or bore you) some pictures of my stuff.

This blazer used to belong to member LEPER and I bought it off him. we were friends and he made me an extremely good deal and I have not really done anything to it but get the passenger door painted to match the Air Force blue. it is an ex Air Force K5. here is the list of specs from his for sale ad. I call it Babe, the big blue ox. I slipped in the ditch one time in front of my house in my 4X4 Dodge pulling my trailer with another pickup on it I was going to trade off with a bunch of parts in the beds of both. It was raining and I sunk up to the driver's door in the Dodge and I fired this beast up and it pulled everything out without even breaking a sweat.

this is a project I have not started on. it currently has a 350/465/208. here are a few things I have for it that I can think of.
axles: the ones in it are 3.42 and I am thinking of going to 4.11
tires: I bought a set of the Ironman 37s I will probably put on it
lift: I have a complete 6" lift that I may couple with an ORD 2.5" shackle reverse and in front EZ inch with Hill's shackles
bumpers: I have an old school Warn bumper with an 8274 and a big stout bumper for the rear
engine: 454 TBI
I have a fixed yoke 32 spline 208, a Qualitex seat for it and a recovered dash pad. old school KC Hilites for the bumper, wish I could find an old school roll bar for it. I have a factory Chevy sport roll bar for a short bed and a chrome roll bar out of an 87. I need to check on the 87 one if I can turn the legs 180 and make it fit in a stepside.

and the 88 K5 will probably end up getting sold

this is my 2007 JK Unlimited Rubicon. it is currently sitting on 40's but when I take it wheeling I put some 37's on Raceline beadlocks on it. it has a Rock Krawler 5.5" long arm lift with King bypass adjustable shocks. it has in internal cage and since it is a Rubicon the 4:1 transfer case. 44/44 combo with 5.38s axles are gusseted, trussed and sleeved. PSC hydro assist. lots and lots of stuff on this one. I had a 2008 that was not a Rubicon that I traded to get my LJ back and also got the Tacoma in the deal. 10 minutes after I traded I regretted it and got this one off eBay. I traded my 2 door Rubicon in on it.

my 2004 LJ. it is on 37's, I still run the 30/44 combo with G2 axle shafts all around, 4.56s and ARBs front and rear with the twin compressor under the hood with the air chuck kit. it also has an internal cage and a Teralow 4:1 in it. it has a Rusty's 5.5" long arm kit on it with Bilstien shocks.

this is my 1998 TJ. it is just a 4 banger but I try to make up for it with gearing. it is also a 30/44 combo with 4340 shafts all the way around. it is geared at 4.88 with and ARB in the rear and an OX locker up front that has been converted to air. it also has a Teralow 4:1 case and an internal cage. it has new 35" radials on it now. it has a 3.5" Rubicon Express fully adjustable lift with RS9000 adjustable shocks on it, along with a 2 inch body lift.

black XJ 2.jpg black XJ 1.jpg

the 1991 XJ. it has a long arm on it and dana 44s front and rear with 4.56's. lockright front and spool rear. I am supposed to be trading this off for the repairs on my camper.

and the specs on it
4.3 Vortec motor, w56 mated to the 4.3 via an advance adapters bellhousing, 3 Toyota transfer cases geared at 2.28 although I am thinking of putting 4.7 in the rear one, Dana 60 - front w/ARB and alloy shafts with warn drive flanges & Dana 70 - rear welded; both with 6.17's, full hydro steer, onboard air with a york and the arb compressor, Premier Power Welder, Warn 9.5 TI winch. it did have 44" Boggers w/36 bolt beadlocks but I sold them. current plan is 43" stickies on Raceline beadlocks.

first picture is what started me down this rabbit hole. I had a roll 3 months after I got it and it has been in various stages of reconstruction since then.

just some random pics I threw up. I did manage to get 3 of my Dodges in the pics. the pics of my shops is what they used to look like. those that I am friends with on Facebook may have seen my progress on getting my shops cleaned up. progress has slowed tremendously due to work but I hope to get back at it soon.

It's the yellow buggy that's a Hendrix Formula Four, right? I really thought hard about putting one on my Blazer frame but chickened out.

it is actually a copy. the guy I bought it from said he copied one that was on Pirate. I had 3 of the F-Toys at one time but got rid of them all. the X Chassis is also a Hendrix buggy. this is F-Toy 509 that I sold but really wish I would have kept.

:waytogo:

If 2 is good
3 is better...4, why not?
5, don't like odd numbers, so 6 makes more sense.
7, back to rule above...so on & so on!

Maybe we can get a CK5 episode on Hoarders!
Might make it past the first couple of minutes that way.

There is a BMW joke in there somewhere.
But I'm going to let it slide

82 crewcab.jpg

happened to remember this one. a friend owed me some money and traded me this. he kept the axles out of it and it is parked inside his shop. it is an 82 and a bunch of different parts. according to the VIN it was a 454/ 4 speed. now it has a 350/350/203 combo. when I do remember it I think I need to take some time off and go up to his shop with some axles and put it back together. i do have another crew cab frame with a FI 454 in it.
