swaped a 3/8 snap-on impact i had i didnt use anymore for this.

edelbrock tbi intake real light use. all good just needs a slight clean up. hardly a oil stain tint in the bottom side.

dont think i did to bad at all. :D going to swap it on my plow truck this summer when i redo the truck and install new gaskets on the motor. so might as well do the intake upgrade. only cost me shipping basicly for even up swap. :woot:

I've said it once, I'll say it again........when it comes to deals like this, I always feel like the kid who shows up to a neighborhood football game with a baseball bat, I'm always at the wrong place at the wrong time. :doah:

Good score BTW. :waytogo:

84cucv has a new one for 200 in the sale section.

i got this of www.thirdgen.org sale section. guy had it for like 125ish for over 2-3 months. i hoped on 1 day just lookin as i have free time these days and asked if any trades as i have no cash out of work now. he said need 3/8 impact. i had and we swaped. :thumb:

and like the pics show its basicly brand new. :woot:

I have this intake, it came on my donor motor, is it better then the stock one? I just assumed they are both aluminum and the edelbrock is just fancier looking.

apparently they flow a fair amount better... seat of the pants feel? doubtful i'd say... combined with other stuff, pushing a tbi's limits? probably helpful...

it's way, way down my priority list...

i have done some readin over on www.thirdgen.org. great tbi info over here.

thay say stock for stock with just intake swap it will loose just a tad bit of power on the bottom end. but flows real good on top.

but like most of us know the exaust and vary SMALL cam is the big limiting factor.

if you got a TRUE tbi motor then just find your self a stock 5.7 lt1 roller cam/lifters/spider/link bars. thay drop right in the block and get you roller cam and much better cam. also get gm roller timing chain setup. then drop on some comp cam self align roller tip rockers and bolt it together. when in the truck bolt on some shorty headers and get 2.5" to 2.5" inlet to 3" outlet y pipe unit from flowmaster and go single 3" exaust and then small chip tune and have fun.

i built this motor few years ago. havent fired yet. so read it for ideas and info. yes some of the inks dont work now as there sites have updated .

but its a copy of a 355 brian at tbichips did . he got some crazy power in the 325-350 hp range with it and its all basic bolt on stuff.
