I would like more feel in the steering wheel.

I have:
PSC S1405 pump and steering box.
PSC steering assist
cross over steering
High steer
33 inch tires.

I contacted PSC and they suggested I try Borgeson 899001 Pressure Reducing kit.

Any suggestions, will this kit work & would I lose steering power with it?

Thank you,
Ed

What pressure are you running on the front tires? My Suburban and my M1009’s get very twitchy if I run too much air in the front tires.

I have used an infrared thermometer across the tire to see if temperatures are just in the middle or even all the way across. Obviously, just the middle is too much air. Even could be anything from 10 psi up to right before too much. Then you have to play with the psi to find your happy feel and tire wear psi.

My V20 suburban with 35’s and a diesel is 39 psi on good roads at highway speeds.

One of my M1009’s on 33’s is 34 psi and the other is 32 psi.

All have had ball joints, alignments and such. Try lowering your pressure a little and see what it does.

Following as I have this same issue. I have considered a fast ratio Borgeson gear as well.

Thank you,
I didn't know this, my tires do have to much air!
I will work with the tire pressure.

Thank you again
