My stupid question for the day

My heater core is starting to go, so I bypassed it. Will my AC still work? I don't see why it won't, but figured I'd ask.

Heat, obviously wont


unless you have a Vintage Air type unit, they warn against it

Assuming the A/C worked before, there's a decent chance it will work better with the heater core bypasses. Also a very good chance it will leak less

Ya it works. It's 100 damn degrees today in So Cal. Thank goodness it works.
