No front axle issues yet eh? That is a sweet truck though for sure!

nope not yet, its had those tires on it for over 2 years, and I am not light footed. Its an open d44

I think people run into trouble when they start doing beadlocks an/or lockers?
I dunno, maybe Irocks are lighter?
A guy I now here has had 44"boggers on his 3/4ford for 6 or 7 years,he does mostly mudd, but he has never broke his 44 either?

i know guys with d44's that mud race and have 44 boggers and over 500hp and they do not break their front ends ever. its because they only do mud. trail riding/rockcrawling is much more destructive on parts because your tires get bound up. having an open front helps inhibit the destruction of parts as well but what fun is that. i'll never give up a locked front end.

I do trails and some rocks ( not the crushers or hammers) I'll never lock my d44, If I must go locked ( which may happen) I'll go to a d60

But like I said..no problems yet??? Keep your fingers crossed for me:D

My inspiration to convert my 44 to 8 lug and then only put in the 14bff and no d60. I'll leave my front unlocked also with my 39.5's

Saves me money. Nothing hardcore down here is florida

I figuer that at $50 per shaft for the d44 I can break it 34 times before it costs as much as a dana 60. and like I said...still waiting

I'll actually be running a 10 bolt now

I found an 8-lug one at the junk yard :D

nice lookin burb. Whats the exact size of the wheels and tires? I was thinking of getting the 39.6X13.5 R 16 Irok and putting them on some 16X7 wheels I got for free, but interco recommend a 16X12 wheel.
