I didn't realize these were put in 4wd trucks also. Anyone have any first hand expirience with these? are they as strong as say a nv3500?

only thing you want is the hydro pedel / master/slave and bell housing. skip the tranny/tcase. thats just a car size tranny. light duty to say the least.

Interesting, first one I see like that.
I had only seen sm465 and NV3500 NV4500.
Is this a Canadian production thing?

Nope, it was offered with the 6.2 and I've also seen it behind a 305. The 4WD version is a lot more rare...

I'd run one with a stockish rig.

friend of mine had a 87 k5 350 with that trans. it was a forest service truck. not too good for wheelin. but good for a dd
