Well Ive been saving evey penny Ive made after spending a ton on parts for my 86 k20, I came across an 83 Blazer . Was at first goin to trade staright up at first but that fell through, but i scraped the money together to get it. Then dug some more to get the 2 gallons of rust bulet he had for it.
Well heres the specs
D60 Front with a home made xover setup and 4.10's
14FF 4.10's
Newer sbc350 out of a 91 Caprice( not sure ifthis is a good thing or not..)
Has a new edlebrock performer intake and a holley carb
th350 tranny
Np205 T-case
New D-shafts front and rear
8" spring lift all the way around
5-38.5 Tsl's radials on 16.5 wagon wheels
Decent interior
ANd a Bit of rust :evil:
Mods listI have planned:
12k warn w/snythetic line
8k Ramsey w/synthetic line
52" spring swap up front
63" spring swap in rear w/ DIY shakle flip
Ford tower W/ 15" travel bilstien 5150's
Sky x-steering steering and Hydro assist w/2wd box
Replace rockers with 2x4x.250 steel box tubing
Build front bumpers for said winches
Ord weld in brace and bolt in brace
Hummer 8 bolts If I can find some Recentered
700r4 with a few ups and a nwf Black box
AND of course some body work..Well alot of boy work to repair the rust not fix dents....AND a vist from the sawzall :shock:
Hmm I also have some 40 tsl's Hmm.....

Cant wait to go pick it up next weekend....
This rig will be my daily driver and will be goin with me when I head up to Wyotech This coming June. Not lookig forward to the +24hr drive

Exactly now I just have to figure out a way to get it home from 4 hours away.. Hmm. Any one got a teleporter lying around in the garage? lol The two trailers that I planned to borrow have bent axles so now I guess ill have to find one to rent.

Well I didnt make it but from what I can tell it will works. I plan on replacing it with my sky setup I picked up a while back.

Ya I thought so too! Im just hoping its not a basket case like my last one... Well I picked up the trailer this afternnon and all the tow gear is packed so im heading out at 7 tommrow morning. Ill post some pics up when I get back.

Well I would of considred that if It was legal to drive back or even could. This is one of those some assembly required projects. Trip was a good learning experince for me my 1st timto pull a rig that far. NOw ive got a to do list to start on tommrow moring. Neighoors arent to hapy ive got a new truck to play with. Ive only been home 20 mins and they allready threathened to call the popo. Opps. Ill post pics after I get em off the camera.

looks like a good start and a good game plan. If you cut the fenders then drop it down on some 52 on the front and change out the steering arm it should look pretty good.

Update

Ok so Ive been slacking I know. Finnaly remembered to get teh ics off the camera so here they are. It seems I have a lot of work ahead of me to get it in the shape I want.

nice blazer, Nice truck as well. 2k is a good deal especially with a d60 front already in the thing. good luck w/ your new project. Btw, that rust isnt that bad, especially if the thing is a wheeler.
