The trans (I think) is making this strange clunking noise. If you are at idle, and hit the gas 75%, and then get right back off, the idle drops back to 700RPM (normal idle), and SOMETHING makes this noise like a wrench or something is hitting the tranny casing. Its clunks a few times, and then stops once the drivetrain is under load again. Any ideas?

Fluid levels are all good. TH400, NP205, 454.

<font color=purple> Also, check all of your bushings to see if any are shot ........ If they're all cracked and brittle, replace them with either new rubber or poly ones ........huge difference !

Also tighten the tranny/transfer case adapter bolts. And make sure that the T-case brace is still attached to the block.
