Mystery Black Box

Wondering if anyone can shed some light on the mysterious "Black box".
My truck is an 85 k20 with an L31 vortec, running summit racing max efi
Th400/NP208.
Driving in to wrk this morning and this mysterious BLack box fell on my foot.
It's plugged into God knows what, right above the accelerator pedal, not sure it ot was mounted on the colum or behind the dash, as the pigtail connector isn't that long
I don't think I need it as everything seems to run fine.
Only markings are AC, it shows some sort of circuit board on the inside, but have to clue as to what it is.

Oh I'm pretty sure no one is tracking me or at least I don't think so.

That 25xxxxxxx number on the sticker looks like a GM part number.

If it’s by the gas pedal it could be the key in door buzzer.

Not the buzzer . No holes in it for sound .

Prob left over from 80's emmisions controls . Searched and found tons of cruise control stuff .

I'll trace back the wires and see how much i can salvage.
If it's the cruise control box
I have no use for it.
