It's time to replace my mirrors, the PO had installed custom mirrors. Does anyone recognize them? The mirrors are fine, but are loose in the ball n' socket portion and no longer stay in one place.

Thanks!

Check your local large truck stop those look like the front blind spot mirrors. Just don't get the convex optical ones....

Put a few drops of LocTite in that ball area. Might work and would be cheaper than complete replacements.

The base and arm look to be correct for the year. Although the mirror on the 69's where square IIRC.

Those also look to be like a LMC knock off of the original. I had a guy try to sell me some when I bought his crappy LMC fenders.

At least those aren`t the ugly Ford style mirrors everyone seems to plaster on the early Chev trucks. :eek1:

I`ll take a pick of my BIL`s 67 and post it tomorrow. :doah:

You can/should be able to tighten them up a bit by those 3 phillips screws. I got the rectangular ones from the chevy truck shop for I think about $10 each

Wow talk about a simple fix. Screws tightened = problem solved.
Talk about overlooking the obvious

Here is the pic of the mirrors I hate so much!
In my BIL`s defence he got the truck with those on it. :dunno:

Glad you got yours fix so easy. :thumb:
