So i finally got around to cleaning up my engine bay this morning there were wires going in all directions. I ran into these two wires and don't know what they are supposed to be connected to. They are the ones in my hand. Green and Brown in color. For some reference this is a 73 K-5. Any help?

Without going to look at my trucks, those remind me of the alternator field and light wires. Do they have a two-ping plastic plug on the end, and what do you have going to the alternator?

they aren't the alternator wires. I have those marked from when I changed out my alternator. Here are some pics of the clips if it helps.

All the spaghetti in the background is nice and clear but the wires in question are all blurry.Looks like it passes through the firewall.Where is it going to?

Is your a/c still hooked up? Little one looks like the power wire to fan in the squirrel cage and the plastic connector looks like power wire to the a/c system from junction box on firewall just to the driver side of the dizzy{where it was on my 76 anyway}. See the other end coming out of the firewall by the a/c box behind the dipstick in this pic.

That makes sense. I thought it might be from the a/c system that was removed by p/o. I will be putting in a vintage air system at some point will I need these wires, and what should I do with them in the mean time, just trying to clean things up.

I'd guess the vintage system comes with its own wiring. Not sure though.
