n000b. Throttle sticking

My throttle started sticking like a bitch, even just under normal driving conditions. When I got home i took off the aircleaner to check out the carb so put a return spring on it, but it already has one. What could be making it stick and how do I fix it?

worn out throttle shaft. see if you can wiggle the throttle shafts any.

Thottle cable binding, gas peddle binding, weak spring(s), broken spring, carb problems.

Disconnect the throttle cable and see if you can feel any resistance in movement on the cable, peddle or throttle lever itself.

May tell you where to look.

Mine was just sticking it turned out that my choke was causing it some how it got lose and got turned so it was causing my throttle to stick.

if you pulled of the carb recently and replace the gasket...to small of one can cause the butterfly thingsy (botom) to get caught in it...
