I have stock length shackles front and back. what length shackles do i need to get 1-2" of lift front and back. I have a shackle Flip.

Shackles aren't a good means of obtaining lift. The longer the shackle the more it alows the spring to sway side to side under your rig. It can cause eradic steering and the death wobble. They can also justake your rig feel loose as it goes down the road. A 1/2" longer most likely would change it but as long as you would need prolly would

To answer your question 1" longer shackle lifts the truck a 1/2". So to get 2" of lift from a shackle it would need to be 4" longer than it is now.

What he said. Trust me, it's scary. My friend has 7" shackles on the back of his truck for a shackle flip, and even that scares me a bit. Sways a bit going down the road and it likes to lean

I seem to have lost the ability to edit posts in tapatalk. Another problem is it pushes pinion angle down in the front, and when you turn the wheel while not moving or cornering fast, the spring and shackle want to 'tip'. The axle moves out from under the truck. My shackles were 6" and kinda loose and my friends noticed this while driving behind me.
