When I move the heat/AC selector to the off position I get a burning smell that seams to be coming from the dash. This only happens in the off position. Also the AC compressor still cycles with the selector moved to off. If I unplug the compressor I can set the selector to off with no smell. I figger its the switch going bad and I know to look for wires or cnectors that look like they have been hot when I open it up. I just wanted to see if any one has any tips on what to look for or known problems. Its a 90 V2500 Suburban with rear air.
