It is a GM axle but it doesn't appear to be full floater. Would they put a semi-float 14 bolt in a 5/4 ton vehicle?

the m1009's (blazer's) had 10 bolts front and rear

How 'bout Rupert the cowardly 10bolt? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

you should post up the whole pic then we could actually see it and tell you what it is /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Take off the lid of the crate. I think that if he could at least count the bolts he would know. It appears to be some type of semi floating 6 lug.

We should call it princess petunia /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

this is the best pic available. it's off a gov auction site and they have it down as a 5/4 ton diff.

Rusty is a good name i think - and Rusty will stay where it is.
