I just got this transfer case and I am trying to figure out which one it is I hope someone can tell from the pics

that would be a 205...you can tell by the 3 bolt small cover..for a 465 also...and im just guessing but its prolly a 10 spline...

NP 205 with the adapter for a sm465 4 speed . I have the same set up under my burb , Just not painted orange 
. Pretty soild unit with the fix output yoke ( rear ) .

Yeah it did come off of a 4 speed tranny just wanted to know I might keep it and try to do a doubler later on with it

Thats 100% exactly the same 205 that I took out of my old '80 originally. and its upside down

it's an early one too. it has the yoke on the front and not a flange.

well make sure you have the coupler or it aint going on nothing.. i think its 10 sline coupler.. it might be in the adapter overt he input of the xfercase.. but i couldnt see one in the picture.. if not you can get them used on ebay, or friends..

it had the coupler but i don't know if it is still in there because i have moved the trailer with it on it so it might have fallen out.
