I searched but could not find what I needed. I went to napa in napa ca today and the guy could not find a part number for the rear axle bearings on a 86 blazer with gm 10 bolt 8.5" 28 spline axle. He could not find the seals, for the front or the rear.
any help greatly apprecited.

He found some parts but not the right ones. I took them in with me and what he pulled was NOT what I needed.

Just enter then info for your Blazer where it says 'change vehicle' and go to 'drivetrain' then 'rear axle parts'.

Someone may have swapped a different axle in it if the parts listed wont fit--if all else fails the part numbers are stamped on the old bearings and seals(of course they usually get mangled when you remove them)but you should be able to match a new bearing up to the old one,and use the seal that goes with that bearing,--as far as I can remember there is only 2 different rear wheel bearing #'s on a 1/2 ton, shouldnt be too hard to figure it out--I think one has "log"style rollers, the other is a sealed ball bearing.
