Should be a nice responsive combination that adds noticeable power.

X2. I say good call on the intake too. Myself, I dont see the point of that performer intake over the stock one other than its aluminum.

I had their performer cam in a small block and it was far better than the stock cam in every area. I would expect similar if not better resuluts in a big block.

take the $300 for the carb and go to the junkyard and get all of that. I just finished a tbi swap, it was easy and cheap.

These are for Project Second Life The 78:

I think that i have narrowed it down, wanted to make sure these go together well... for a street truck its becoming....

Also, (noob question) how do i tell if it is a manual or electric choke?

there are so many better cams than that , with computer designed profiles, and alot more dyno testing. thats a 20 year old grind that was designed by someone else. call comp cams or lunati, or anybody else, tell them what you want the truck to do, and take their suggestion.

thats a good intake.
i would get youre original q-jet modded from a place like jet. q-jet delivers better throttle response, and better mileage
