Was that blazer sectioned from the center? I dont know if that is the correct termonolgy, but it looks like it was narrowed from cutting a certain amout out of the center... thats pretty awesome..

yep , Volvo-portals
the body is narrowed ~14 inches
don't know these guys , they are located ~500 miles north of me
but that is a Swedish page and we speak Swedish here...Norwegian is something else
no more pictures at this moment ...the truck/truggy? is not finished as i understand ...

That looks like a really cool project. Actually a guy in my 4-wheeling club is working with a similar project on his -76 Blazer. Volvo portals are really cool. You get huge ground clearence with them and they seems to hold up for almost anything. A lot of people uses them for offroad-projects here in Sweden since the old military volvoparts are so easy to find over here.
