Narrowing the rear of a K5

I took about 6" out of each side on my K5. Would have done a little more but that would have forced me to redo the rear part of the cage. Never regretted as it really helps to keep the body off the rocks. I was replacing the rear quarters and had the old ones (that looked like a crushed pop can) off at the time. I basically cut the flange/lip off from the floor and inner fenders that the quarters bolted to, cut a "pie" out of each side, and then rewelded the lip back on.
