I know this has been covered in a lot of individual threads. But I thought a central thread would be nice. Perhaps how much did you narrow, measurements off the frame rail to the outside of sheet metal, what you did with hood hinges, rad support, fender mounts, etc.

Would love to have picture etc for those of us looking to do this mod.

p.s this may be better for center of gravity but not sure?

I would love to narrow the entire body of mine. Right down to a single seater narrow. But, I dont have the body work talent... or the tools to do it.
:(

Narrowed mine 16" total. Cut fenders even with firewall. Then cut the hood down and welded the fenders to the hood. Braced the radiator with modified fence posts (redneck, I know) and welded some homemade hinges to it under the top of the channel iron bumper. It all worked out pretty well, but I am still fine tuning the hood seats so it doesn't rattle like a rock in a tin can.
I need to get my membership and learn to post pictures if anybody is interested.

Mine is basically tube with the sheetmetal laid over it, probably not entirely what you're looking for.

Here's what the uncovered chassis looks like, IMO its kinda goofy looking (the center is made from an S&W cage kit) and the front and rear pieces aren't stiff enough.

After adding the skins, lowering the suspension 4" and going to 42's

I can get measurements for how wide it is later.

The hood is held down by 4 hood pins welded to the tubing, the radiator is held down by two "cups" at the bottom that the stock rubber bushings fit into, the top is held down by the stock radiator tie down. The door and rear fender skins are welded to the tube, the front fender skins have studs welded to them that fit through tabs on the tube.
