No resolution yet. It's been raining like the dickens here and my lazy ass doesn't feel like getting soaked working on the truck. I'm gonna head out and try and get a manifold tomorrow. Rest assured I will post up here as things progress.

If the exhaust manifolds look like a w then no you need spreader to get them back on. Real cheap tool like $10.

If it's a stuck lifter (happens a lot in these motors) running a quart of ATF in it for a few 100 miles will do the trick. The detergents in the ATF will clean the motor out some. Always works pretty well without damaging the engine.
