Ok awhile back I asked about this or found it in a post. Anyway it said to get the 3-3140 conversion joint from Neapco. I went to install it today and the caps that press into the driveshaft are way to small. I have used the #447 before and it works...does anybody know the correct Neapco #? Napa has 2 #447's in stock but the Neapco from AZ is almost $10 cheaper /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

edit: this a stock 10b shaft to a 14BFF

Neapco # 2-1153 Good luck Brian. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'll 2nd that. 447 = 2-1153 in Neapco. (Saginaw S44 internal locking clips to Spicer 1350) '80s trucks will typically use this.

348 = 3-3140 = Spicer 1310 (external clips to Spicer 1350) Typically the '70s trucks will use this.

Easiest way to identify is to look at the lock rings. If your stock u joint has internal locking clips it is Saginaw, if it has external clips it is Spicer.

I have a used NAPA 447 for sale. I don't need it since I did a fixed-yoke conversion.
