neat Montana truck

The wheels are too blingy for my taste, and that hot rod turquoise makes me nauseous, but that's just me.

OTOH, the dash / center console is   amazing!

I've been thinking about doing a console for my truck. One thought was to maybe do some nice woodworking, and another was to do fiberglass, which is what I assume was done here.

I could never EVER do that well though. Dayum. :deal:

There was a Diesel Magazine around christmas time that did a similar conversion for MMA guy Matt Hughes.

His was a '66 p/u on an '06 D-max frame. It was pretty B-A!

That is some beautiful work, well laid out, functional and just sweet!:bow:

i like the gauges and how he used the stock climate controls. looks like alot of hours went into this truck

Not for gel cell batteries -- They don't mind one bit!

Beautiful truck though, seems extremely well built!

Thats bad ass. Kinda wierd he went throuhg all that gauge work, then tacked a silly bracket ot the bottom of the dash for one more....prolly trans temp.

I see no issue mounting Optimas upside down, but under my truck upside down isnt' really the first place i want my batteries.....

Besides that its bitchin.....

That color only works on that year.

The new trucks have an integrated Trans temp in the cluster... the gauge below the dash is for the helper bags out back.

It's from Whitefish so I'm certain there's tofu stains on the seats and the floor is sticky from a spilled latte. :haha:

The wheels and tires would have to go.. wheels are way to wide for that tire, and 20's are just too... :doah:
