Need 2 more inches

I have 4" of lift I want 6" so I need 2" more. Should I get zero rates and longer shackles for the rear or a 2" shackle flip?


What about the front what can I do I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for 6" front springs.

You could do longer shackles up front + shims for close to an inch. Then you could get 1" zero rates.

Or you could find some 2" add-a-leaves. Just be sure you are thinking long-term so you don't waste money on stuff you will take out later.

Or a 2 inch body lift, I ran one with my 4 inch springs, I thought it was perfect, 3 inch seems too much, and 1 inch seems like a waste unless your doing the body mounts as well.

id avoid a body lift. most of the time your going to strip the body bolt and it ends up being a huge headache. id do a shackle flip in the rear and then an add-a-leaf or zero-rate with 6" shackles

I'm a fan of body lifts.No prob with 'em at all.Gets you the clearance you need without raising you CG as much as you would with just springs.Helps with a clocked 205 also.I have a 2" BL with 4" springs and run 42's without problems.

When I ran my 2 inch aluminum body lift, I didn't notice any negative effects from it. I will be running it again with a 10 inch spring lift.

Ughh the shackle flip will get you around 3" from personal experience my 4" DIY4x got me a hair under 5in.

I'd get some stocker rear springs and do a shackle flip with a zero rate. Shackles and zero rate in front.

Personally I always though the point of a 1in BL was to make sliders and working underneath easier.
