Last year my 6.2 tossed a rod.I am thinking that maybe if the parts and shipping were cheap I might go used. I need a crank(prefer one that has never been undersized) 1 rod and a oil pan.My engine is a 1983 C sreis engine. It would need to be shipped or sent too Centralia wa.98531 If someone has a complete and good running engine I may go that route and if you want to sell me a parts engine maybe go that route too ? If you have a complete vehicle hit me up on that one too. Thanks

I will keep my eyes open for you. What ballpark are you looking to spend on a complete motor? I see them come up for sale near Seattle from time to time.

I gave away a running 6.2 because I couldn't sell it like a month ago. Sorry man, I wish I knew. On the other hand, if you want glow plugs with a couple hours on them for $20, then we can talk.

I have a crank, rods and oil pan.
I also have complete running engines but shipping those will be too much.
I could try and figure out the cost for shipping them or if I can find someone going up that way from Cali.
I would never touch a resized 6.2 crank, they need to be nitrided and I have seen machine shops grind them and not nitride them.
I don't trust a resized 6.2 crank.
I don't have any 83 left but I believe my 86 and 87 should be the same, I think 92 or 93 is when they changed the crank?
That is if they did. :dunno:
