I'm looking for some info on flow rates for aftermarket converters. I'm finally in a position where I can afford to replace the stockish converter on my 84 Camaro with one capable of breathing the 7000RPM 350 under the hood. I've searched some and can't find anything listing the flow rates of these converters.

The thing is lowered so all I really have room for is a single 3" pipe going to the back. Then it'll be going through a muffler (yet to be decided based on flow ratings) with a single 3" exit on the drivers side like it had when it was a stock V6 car. Right now it has a 2.5 all the way back then a 3" exiting a Flow Master Delta 40. Works ok, but WAY too much back pressure and blows collector gaskets all the way out of the flanges.

I have a Magnaflow spun metal high flow cat on my GLI. Its the best you can get short of a straight pipe and be legal. It puts up with plenty of abuse given the power I'm running out of a 2.0L 4 cylinder.
