OK, guys, I need some help with a little Blazer trivia for an magazine article, here are my questions:
Was the 400 engine offered only in 1975 in a Blazer, I thought that it was offered at least one year but want to make sure?
Also, what was the ratio of Blazers made to Jimmy's, I was thinking 3 to 1, but could be way off.

Thanks Guys

Mine had a 400 in it and it is a 78.

That is the link for the sales broshures 69-91.
That should be able to tell ya just about anything ya need to know.

My 79 was too. My Chevy book has the 400 being dumped after the 76 year, IN CARS. I guess truckes kept it for the torque. I think 79 was the last year for it in a truck. I'll tell ya in about 5 minutes when I run out and check my motors manual....

OK, thank's guys, anyone know about the second question? What was the ratio of Blazers to Jimmy's bilt.

I have no clue, but I'd say you're pretty close (you can say approximately 3 to 1 /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif) since there aren't many Jimmy's...

Steve, contact Wes, he has all the 4X4 Power issues and one of the last ones had a history of the Blazer. I'd help you but I have no idea where I left that issue.
