need a few pics - 81 + hood hinges...

I have a 78 and an 83...

I want to mate the 83 clip (hood fenders etc) to the 78. I have the complete truck so parts should be all there.

I ready the article in the tech secion... and am a little confused and i think a picture would greatly clear things up...

can someone take a picture if they have done this of where/how the hinges need to be mounted to the firewall...

my 83 parts truck is a ways away so i cant go take a look right now...

Pretty sure that on my 81 the hinges are mounted to the inner fender. Maybe there is something different on the 83s?

sorry, don't have a better pic, but they don't mount to the firewall - they mount to the fender.

Thanks for the reply, I ended up giving the truck to someone who needed it for teh tub and title... so project is on hold...
