Need a grille and an answer

I have a billet grille but the top of the plastic is chipped real bad. I might see if I can replace the plastic or look into something new. What soruces should I look into for a custom grille? My trucks year is 1990, but I like the old school 73 front more. Would it be hard to put that front onto mine?

In order to do it, you have to change the entire front clip. Not sure if the 73 would be a direct bolt on or not. You may need to work with a slightly newer one to get it to work. I know that the 90 front clip could be bolted on to mine, but I wouldn't want to ditch the only year that my grill was available. I prefer the look of the 90's, but don't want to switch mine.

You need to remember that the grille, hood, and fenders are all slightly different from the design that came out in 81.

Darn so that is no easy change. What about a custom grille? Where can I go to find one?

It's not that hard, but on top of what lectric said, you will also need new wiper arms and such, as they were different in pre 81.
