Anyone ever added lights to the factory roof rack? what kind of options have i got?

Whatever you do, don't spend a lot on lights. My treecatcher (roofrack) takes one hell of a beating.

i was wondering that myself. but it can't be any worst than one of those bars that mounts to the rain channels
I have never put lights on the front of my rack, although I designed it to have lights. Fact is that they would not last long unless they were inside a cage. That rack takes some abuse.

thinkin now i would be better off with some made into some custom bumpers

They make the ones that fold down but i'm not sure how much that helps when limbs get up under em and try to tear em off
EDIT: I thought you were talkin about the roof channels mounted one. I'm not sure if you can get lights where just they themselves fold down....
