**OK, I have the day off, so I have been working on the 52's some more. I have actually mocked it up and put the springs in place. While the forward move is not as drastic as I thought, it is still more than 2 inches. I was looking at the write up on the swap, and some other pictures and noticed that the body mounts look a little smaller on the newer K5's. My buddys 84 has them and they are 3.75" wide and mine are 5" wide!!! :doah: SO, with this new revelation, my 52's will move my axle about 3.5" forward!!! Guess I need a zero rate, or is there another way around this??? :dunno: **

I swapped in some 56's in the rear last weekend and that turned out great! :D

Here's the problem:
I got right in the middle of swapping in 52's up front :grind: when it began to look like this was going to move my front axle about 6"s forward and with my 38" SX's, they would basicly be flush with the front of my fender and require massive amounts of hacking to allready hacked fenders! :hack: This is with moving front hanger and L bracket to front side of body mount and moving rear hanger forward as well.
Am I just looking at this wrong, or is this the normal outcome????

If this is normal, what are some suggestions for putting in 52's with minimal hacking and still have good shackle angle on the back??

Thanks,
Brandon

i am almost done with my 52" swap axle doesn't move 6" forward about 2
if you want the axle back get some zero rate leaves from Off Road Design then you can center or off set front or back 1" or 1/12"
