Anyone have a suggestion for brand or a place to buy it? I'm sure a lot of the places you get clutches for the sm465 wont carry civic stuff.. but I'm just hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Doing a google/ebay search yields names i dont know. And nothing thats going to break the bank or have uber performance, just need the clutch kit haha. Thanks guys

any parts store should have a stock style clutch kit for a Honda. Worst case scenario go dealer.

Yeah, was going to go down to autozone but I'm wary of places like that. Was hoping that someone had first hand experience. I guess i can ask the one mom and pop place in town

I didn't end up needing it, but I priced out a clutch kit for my wife's 03 civic from Oreilly's. They had all the parts in stock too. Ended up wrecking the car before it was needed, but they had it. Autozone would prolly have it all. Doesn't hurt to call around anyways.

Ya your not going to need anything special for a civic.

Just make sure to get a disc, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and a pilot bearing. And the alignment tool.

i put in an excedy in my integra. i bought what i thought was a slightly stronger than stock clutch because ive worked the motor a little. its been a while but im sure i got mine from summit.

anyways like others have said make sure that you get all the parts.

When in doubt, check rockauto.

STI? Please don't Tell me it's blue like every subie around my city! lol
Glad it worked out for you, even gotta have that AWD in the car
;)
Unfortunately the wife didn't want the STI (not that it mattered because we bought the last new one on the island) but it's a pearl white hatchback with factory tint, stainless dealer add on cat-back and black interior. It's a little badass. Love it!

Ive run an ACT street disc and heavy duty pressure plate in my turbo civic for years, although if your talking about a stock civic, then id go with whatever the local parts store has, pretty much as everyone has said so far.
