need a new garden hose reel HELP !

need a new hose reel at the house. should be simple right

went to store found 9 models 8 are square box that i have had before and hate that style . last one made me so mad it got my size 12 steel toe in the side 1 day.

so i want one with wheels and tan/brown color to blend in with the house colors. i happen to see the 1 only model with wheels was just what i wanted.

so i grabed it and got it home and loaded the hose on and used it 3-4 times for the flowers in the front of the house. then my mother said its leaking and the hose reel said ( NO LEAK SYSTEM ) so i start looking and BAM left side center hub is out of plastic snap groves and hose adaptor/spinner is broken off the holding tabs.

so the mechanic kind of guy i am i try and see a way to fix this crap ....... but no way to fix it. its 100% BULL SH!T design from where ever land . so i take it back to the store and get refund.

well i have looked at other stores in my area and a bit on line. nothing seems to be what i feel is good QUALITY and STYLE . also i do NOT want a green / black industrial 4 air leaking out tire's super duper metal tube hose real .

so does anyone have any ideas or links to help me out please ?

bolt a hub to the wall, weld a handle to a rim, and bolt the rim to the hub, that's the ck5 way lol

boy this is a real help thanks my mother would just love that on the side of here house with brand new siding. . . .

i had 2 of the older version of these (did not have pop up handles). they were great

they worked really well, just shut off the spigot and voila, up it reeled.. even worked with the pressure from my rainwater collection 60gallon drum

cool on that stuff. that would help them with there medical problems of low body strength not having to real up the heavy hose.
