Hi,
I need a new headliner & carpet, but I don't know weather I should buy it from LMC or Classicindustries or ??? . LMC offers ABS backed Headliners, they seem to be quite fine. for the carpet, I'd prefer Classicindustries... They seem to offer good quality. Did any one of you guys already buy a capet/headliner and is able to tell me something about the quality of that stuff :D:D:D
thx again!

greetings

flo

Got mine carpet straight from ACC. http://www.accmats.com/ Was going to get it from Classic but when I talk to them they were against selling me the mass backing. Got in 3 days form them the fit was great. I have seen some of there cheaper kit that don't fit that good.

Most of the carpet kits come from ACC, so you get quality stuff. I got my carpet kit from LMC and it fit great, just make sure you put it out in the sun for awhile to heat it up. I recovered my headliner myself with headliner fabric from Jo-Ann the fabric store, so I can't help you out in the headliner area.

If your headliner board is good, you just have to pill off the old material. than use a wire brush to clean it up good. Use some 3M spray adhesive for glue. You should be able to find some headliner material pertty easy. Look for an upholstery supply company. This is where I get my stuff http://www.larrydennis.com/default.asp, but they are local for me.

Thanks. Rear 1/4 panels are geting made this week. Also ordering the new factory material to recover the seats. Almost done with the interior.

Hey Teck, are you shooting for a stock look on your new 1/4's ?

I used the heat and sound padding, it's the one with the silver backing.
As for the 1/4 panels they are being made to look like the factory ones
The interior is being done pretty much orginal.
