I need a new hood for my '89 Suburban. Mine has issues. I am going to go with steel over fiberglass. Will any hood from '81-87 (88-91 burbs) fit? Good shape used one over OEM reproduction? PnP?

Pretty sure going to go standard over cowl. Now if I could find a ram air setup to push through an CAC, that would be pretty cool. :waytogo:

Any '81+ square body hood will fit.

IMO, I'd go with a really nice used hood since you're in Ca., the build and fit will be far superior to a reproduction.

Edit: or are you in canada?

Either way, GM over aftermarket!

Any 81-87 truck and 81-91 Blazer/Burb will fit. I vaguely recall some variation in hood ornament or lack thereof, but that's minor. I'd PnP or Craigslist it myself, cheap, simple, easy.

Yeah, I would just give you one if you were in Nebraska. They don't usually rust.
