Need a pair of keyed-alike locking hitch pins. These any good?

I've never bought a locking hitch pin before. I need a pair that are keyed alike. Any opinions on these?

Don't really need to foil master thieves...just punks/kids/thugs who wouldn't know how to pick a decent lock if their life depended on it...

Those work fine.

and FWIW, one wack with a hammer and those things fall apart so only consider it a device that keeps the honest thieves away.

cut so many off for lost keys / frozen up / frozen in the hitch .

just pull the reciver out when your done its the correct and safe thing to do .

this will save you the money on fancy pins .

or just a good grade 8 5/8 bolt and a crimp nut bolt that sucker in . who has these tools with them all the time . . .

both of these receivers are the hidden type...behind beefy offroad-type bumpers. It'd probably be difficult to get much of a hammer-swing at them, but thieving scum is good at breaking **** so I'm sure they'd find a way.

When I bought my 2dr Tahoe it had a locked hitch pin with no key. After staring at it for bit and no way to cut it without Fing something else up I googled how to remove it. Many people said to hit it with a hammer

One hit with a framing hammer and it fell off. I was amazed how easy it was...

Those should be fine.

I always run locking pins. Its a deterrent. As much as it is illegal in some states, my trucks always have a ball on them, and i don't want it walking off.

I also want everything locked when I leave a nice boat somewhere parked. Locked hitch pin, locked coupler, and locked removable tongue if the trailer has it. Yes, just a deterrent, but will make most move on to the next target.

My only 2 cents is to get ones with flat keys like that. The round keys are secure, but I hate carrying them on my key ring.
