I'm in the market for some 10" subs.
Problem is space.I need as thin a sub as I can get.
I have no more than 6" of clearance where I want to put them.

Anyone have some recommendations?

Blaupunkt makes them but they suck soooo bad and they are really expensive.

Thanks guys.I thought I saw some on EBay that were about that deep but couldn't find the auction again. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Any one heard reviews or had experience with Pioneer's TS-SW124D 12" shallow mount sub.

I had never seen those before. Would love to hear from someone about these. I know Pioneer makes decent speakers but I have never heard there subs before.

i have sold and installed 6 pair of these subwoofers and they do a good job, there is no spider, just upper and lower surrounds, so it will not hold a ton of power, i would spec in about 250 - 300 watts RMS. for a ultra thin application, it is the best sub i have ever used/heard. it nice to put behind a full size standard cab pickup and have the seat almost all the way back ..

I just put in a 305C Pioneer sub in an ebay box and it's very nice, puts the seat out one click away from as far back as it will go, but eh

I've always had great luck with pioneer
