So I am in the process of putting my 454 back together after having it rebuilt and I am having trouble figuring out where some of the accessory brackets go. Hoping somebody might have some photos of their engines fully assembled.

Also I need a photo of the drive train if possible. The two support bars that run from the base of the bell housing to the engine are confusing me as well. I feel like something is missing. Pictures are worth a thousand words.

On another note I am also having issues with re installing my oil cooler. The two long bolts that secure it are really difficult to get on with a normal socket. The space just isn't there. Does a smaller diameter socket exist for these type of applications? I will take some pictures of it here in a bit to show what I'm talking about.

Oh and what about the two oil lines that hook up to the oil cooler. Does it matter which one goes where?

Thanks in advance

Disregard the oil cooler question, I got it in today.

If anyone has a pic of just the front of there 454 engine (ideally one with AC) that's all I need. The bracket's I don't have figured out are all the AC brackets and the power steering brackets.

Thanks

If you need something else PM me and I'll get it up here....

Here's the only pic I have of my motor mount bars. The go from the bellhousing to a special bracket that bolts to the block @ the motor mount.

Edit: the longer of the 2 bars goes on the driver side.

dam is that a Fram I see on there????

Yeah, cheapy for priming and install. Seems like I always manage to ding the filter while stabbing the motor ( note marks on filter :doah: ). I swapped on a Wix for start up.

awesome....I was lucky enough to put mine it with the body off, so it was a breeze.
Wix/Napa Gold FTW!

Howdiy, I've never seen an alt bracket like that. Is it for a big amp unit?
