I need to get new weather stripping for the door windows in my 78. Are the ones from LMC worth the money? I want to order tonight. I plan on the whole kit including for the wing windows.

I keep hearing this. I ordered door rubber, and hardtop seals from LMC and was thoroughly underwhelmed with fit and quality...

Ok that's good enough for me. I mean how can you not trust a guy who drives a trash truck and sports the chicken legs? OK so here is $257.00 going to LMC. Wing windows will have to wait a week.

Just from my personal experience, I will never order from LMC again for this type of stuff. Classic Parts all the way.

You do realize that Rene said UNDERWHELMED?

I bought door window rubbers from Classic Parts but haven't installed them yet. The quality appears to be good but we'll see how the fit is when i get around to installing them.

Oh heck with it. I just got a little excited. The first time in a few years I got to spend money on the old girl and I just want to get her back on the road. If the parts dont fit good I'll just send them back.

I guess I should have worded that differently. LMC rubber = mediocre at best.

Sorry man.

i have NOT been impressed with LMC's weatherstripping...the one's for the doors were ok, but the one's for the windows and vent windows did not fit well at all

Not your fault Rene, I just didn't take the time to read it good enough. Right now there is zero weather stripping in the doors and what I pulled out 6 years ago was the old factory stuff so anything will be better. I just want to shut the doors and roll up the windows. Like an old boss used to tell me...."Hey Corey we ain't building Cadillac's here, it's good enough". So I'm not to picky, I just want it back on the road. It's even getting a fresh coat of black primer. I was getting tired of the gray. :D
