So ive finally decided i should start trying to fix my tailgate. on the right side the tailgate is like jammed and will not move or budge one bit while the left side pops free. Ive tried dam near everything but a sawzall. any idea's?
Have you pulled the access panels off yet? It's pretty common for the links to stretch, causing one side to fully release, while you can't pull the handle far enough to pop the other side. With the inner panels off, it's as easy as pulling up on the stuck side's control rod while holding up the handle. I hope that's all it is. Then you can bend the links to even them up to work normal.
