What size nut holds the batt cable to the starter?

What holds the ignition wire to the starter solenoid?

I'm at work, if no one answers by the time I get home I'll check mine sitting on the floor of the shop!

You looking for thread pitch or nut size. 17mm on bat connection and 8mm on solenoid. I think the 8mm is 1.25 course.

Yeah thread pitch and size. Just trying to avoid the guessing game. I don't keep much metric stuff around.

I'm pretty sure the lug on the starter for the battery cable is 12mm x1.5 (17mm wrench)
Not sure on the ign wire terminal. Maybe 6mm?

Might be just as easy to yank the starter off and drag it to the hardware store with ya!

I checked mine...10mm x 1.50 and 5mm x .75 ( hardware store says 5mm x .8)

you mean the two that are pointing down right?

Yep, the two pointing down. I was gona guess 12mm x 1.5 on the stud but no clue on the ign. Wire.
