I have two shops and I'm tired of fork-lifting my Lincoln PowerMig 255 between the two. I have no hardcore brand preference, but I tend to prefer Lincoln for MIG and Miller for TIG. I own the above PowerMig 255, a Miller Dynasty 200DX and a Lincoln ProCut 55.

I have used my brothers Millermatic 175 and it is vastly inferior to my PowerMig 255. The majority of what I do is 1/8" or less, so I don't need a ton of amperage, but I appreciate the control of the larger machines, this is what i'm after.

So i'm basically looking for a 150amp, 240v machine that is smaller with the stability of the larger machines.

Any thoughts on the newish Millermatic 215 multiprocess machine?

I too also have both brands! I have a Millermatic 251, and a Lincoln Precision Tig 275. I think that the Miller multi process is a good machine, but I have been doing some research and I think I am going to go with the new ESAB multi process for a portable type system. It's rated up to 235 amps, and has a ton of really cool features. A buddy got one of the first ones and loves it! He's a hydro mechanic at our local dam, so he welds all day. I can almost always trust his judgement on equipment. Hope this helps!

I got my eye on on that Miller 211 myself it's stout from what I hear.

Never had a Lincoln myself.

The multi machines don't seem worth it from what I am hearing from some.

Watching this thread!

I have a millermatic 130xp which is fantastic for sheet metal. Outside of that there is not enough power.

I myself might look into the esab unit.
I hear they are pretty good.
I would have to weld with one first.
I have welded with the Lincoln 210mp and liked it alot.
