It came stock with atf. You've got 10mins while it drips to tell me I shouldnt put 80w90 in it :D

But really I didnt think it would make a difference.

well, i would put what GM calls for in it....ATF. that's what i run in mine, and all my buddies/famly members run. just my 2cents bro.....8minutes left....

Better lubrication (I would think) and I just got done taking a milkshake out of it.

Plus all the earlier ones called for gear oil and the cases didnt change at all. Same with the sm465. Mine has gear oil so I hear some called for ATF with no mechanical differences.

milkshake eh??? sounds like some water got in there....route your breather line WAAAAY up high...i'd say you could use gear oil as a temp fix to get off the trail/home or something like that, but it may hurt your chain/beraings....my TC is the only stock drivetrain part on my truck, it's a 208, and i use only ATF(syntec blend) in it. works/shifts perfect.

chain driven cases do not take 80w90. The 203 takes 10w30 and the 208 takes atf and there both chain driven. I believe the 208 uses planetary gears as the reduction, the same style gears in a Automatic tranny.

Ughhh I dont feel like going and buying ATF....

205's run gear oil, but then again their not a chain case.

Alright fine... Yeah I cant wait til I have to figure how the hell I'm gonna get a breather on my trans and case...

My freaken trans was a milkshake too

I'd just drop them but alas I dont know wtf I'm doing with a clutch...

I'm goin to buy ATF...............................

IC, no breathers on them? I run a th400 and it has a breather tube which i extended, it was tight but no biggie, not sure what the manual is like.
