Well i had no atf, so i put 10w30 in there...bad stuff, too thin could not shift in 4 lo because of the gear spining too fast.
I just remember when i had my 85 bronco: was doin same thing; when i wanted to go in 4LO, i had to stop engine cause it was grinding waaaayyy too much.The bronco had atf in it.
So i put back my old 80w90 oil in it, seems good now.
