Im working on my disc brake conversion and I need pics of the e-brake components on the 76-78 caddy calipers, and installed if you can get it.

Thnaks in advance

Back when I had a e-brake....BLING:D
Only got around to hooking up that one wheel but that one wheel alone held my truck VERY well on a incline.

Well I did get the caliper mounted up, but I have yet to hook up the e-brake. I cut off one of the stops off so I could run the e-brake lever more vertical in relation to the caliper. This lets me put the e-brake mechanism on top of the axle. Thanks for the help guys.

Thanks guys for the help,& Manny wow man thats one hell of a write up, thanks alot!

has anyone ever had a problem with them getting caught up on the rocks? I'm thinking i could weld a plate coming out from the bottom of the bracket at a 90* angle. about 2" wide & the length of the bracket.

Haha,

No problem. I love writing up about my truck, not for the praise, but because it's helping so many of my fellow wheeler's out! I'm always ready to lend a hand and if my post helps even one person, then I feel I've accomplished my mission in life. I like to make at least one person laugh a day, even if it's at myself.

Enjoy!
