Need cam for DD.........?

Anyone? Hello? - I'm in the same boat and have been hoping someone would throw out some advice. I'm going 383 and want a roller cam that still smog legal.
There is alot more to buying the correct cam. Need to match the cam to the rest of the engine and the type of use.

p&p vortec heads
383ci
elbrock manifold
headers
Intended use is a DD / tow rig with some 4x4 use.
Is this enough to offer suggestions?

Need to know what the true compression ratio is. What size carb?

Don't know that yet. I wanted to pick the cam first and then call tbichips for the fuel delivery. I have a 454 tbi unit and will go from there. CR is 9:1
actualy you need to call brian tbichips first. or read his site. there is limits to the tbi for certian specs on the cam for what it will work with.
if you get to radical it will never be able to be tuned in with the computer likeing it.
so best call him first or even better email he is fast at replyes.
